COMMUNITY......... Helping those that are in need

How we help?

1. HOLIDAY MEALS FOR THE COMMUNITY

2. FOOD PANTRY

3. COACH- COmputers for Adults & CHildren

We recognize that we are living in a technology driven era and we are striving to increase information technology access and use in our community. Our goal is to improve the computer skills and job opportunities for individuals in the community. SMBC receives donations of computers, printers, or parts and utilizes volunteers to repair, refurbish and update this equipment. The computer equipment is set up in a centralized location at the church where the community has access to use the computers.  Children can use the computers to conduct research and complete homework assignments. Teenagers have access to the computers to complete academic assignments, fill out college applications, and complete job applications. Students are also able to utilize the computers to work on computer based academic prgrams as an extension of the school day. Adults can use the computers to pay bills, fill out job applications, research medical information, and learn digital literacy skills to stay up to date with the younger generation.
